    Hi

Does anyone know if a Buell S2 EVO engine can be used as a Sportster EVO replacement?

I had a 1996 Buell S2T and it was a Sportster engine in a Buell frame. As you know the frame of the Buell is uniquely and oddly different from the Sportster frame.

I don't believe they did anything different production wise to the Sportster engine to facilitate being placed in the Buell frame. Instead built the Buell frame to accomadate Erics dream of placing a Sportster engine into a sport bike frame.

I have Eric Buells email address. If you want it PM me and I will send it to you.

You'll get the right answer right from the horses mouth that way....I did a little search and got different answers....some say the mounts are different, some say it will work....with a grinder and a welder anything can be made to fit...I've seen some Buell engines in custom frames....good luck, let us know what you find out...:)

PM means Private Message, it's in the upper right hand corner of your
screen a way to send msg to other members without posting something..
