I've heard mention of changing the compensating sproket size by 1 tooth to get more low end punch. Is there a kit/part number for this and is it bolt in without any other mods?

Also is there a close ratio gear set available for the TC tour bikes?

    Aloha....Mike

Going 3.37 is your best bet...all stock parts... you use a 24 tooth comp sprocket and a 37 tooth clutch basket/ring gear,no other changes needed except a primary gasket, right now yours is 25 tooth comp and 36 tooth clutch= 3.15:1 gearing...
Baker has a kit with a 23 tooth sprocket and a shorter chain, but you have to find and older Evo tensioner and shoe and flip the shoe over...
If you just dropped 1 tooth on the comp it would give you 3.28:1 final gearing, but I think you'd have to find a shorter primary chain and maybe the tensioner too like in the Baker kit...
Here's the part numbers if you want to price the parts list

    40269-85A 24 tooth compensating sprocket
    37846-99A 37 tooth clutch shell
    34901-94B primary gasket...
Your 5th gear revs will go up approx 300 RPMs and you'll loose 5 MPH top speed, but you'll feel better acceleration of the line and in roll ons...:)
