Well yesterday I got my Christmas present a little early.

Went to 3 Academy's yesterday looking for a Pair of Costa Man O War sunglasses with a silver frame , and the silver Mirror 580 Glass lens with the copper backing .

Found them at Bass Pro Shop in Katy , Texas.

I really like them. They have side shields too.
    And yes they are polarized.

Got a string to go on the arms in case I'm not riding and i'm around the water and drop them in they will float.

We are supposed to get a Bass Pro shop here next year, first in Atlantic Canada, I think. Hope it gets the selection I've seen in U.S. ones.

They sure are nice to look threw.

Got some guys that ride bikes saying they will not ride with Glass lens in sun glasses.

The glass lens are so easy on the eyes , I really like them.

And I live on a lake. I have fell off a boat dock. Didn't have a string on my sunglasses and they wound up on the bottom.
Have more than one pair down there too.
Got a buddy that has a couple pairs of expensive See in Eye glasses on the bottom too.

Come walk around on a dock and put a ladder across the dock and do things to a boat.
You need to drain the lower unit. And run wires under and alone side of the boat.
And put boat covers on and tie them down..

Mabe , just mabe you will understand.

    Yer choice.

But you won't have a super clear pair of sunglasses.
The sun is very hard on yer eyes. You only got one pair.
Do what you want with them.
Tell me what they are worth.

Some of the boats I may go and help with big. When you lean over trying to strap covers down. You may take a chance leaning over too far.
A lot of the folks do not live here. So they keep their boats covered up so the birds and junk don't get in their expensive boats.
I'm not in the great shape I was several years back.
My buddy is only 48 and he was leaning around the back of a boat trying to get some hooks on a cover and slipped and went 6' down when he hit the water.
    I laughed my butt off.

I walked over to the edge of one boat dock. The board raised up before I knew it and it was over.
People don't take care of their boats, or boat houses, or cables holding the boats up.
We have had 4 boats to fall while on the boat dock.
Luckily nobody has been under it when it fell.

somethings it's just worth it to spend a bit more,
glasses are one of them, I've had cheap ass sidewalk
vendor glasses for a while, then you get a good set
of night goggles and it's amazing the difference.

Down here in Flarider we wear sunglasses at night
    it's so bright...

I agree. From years of fishing in lakes, rivers and saltwater a good pair of sunglasses are essential. I own 4 pair of Smith Optics glasses. All are 100. Polarized and then different tints for different conditions. Recently I bought a pair of cheap sunglasses to knock around in and also a pair of Harley glasses from a dealer. After a couple of hours with the cheap ones I always go back to the Smith Optics. Even though they aren't cool looking.

Another reason for a full face helmet.
Those things fly in packs. Sound like rocks hitting yer helmet.

And the bugs that are bad is LUV bugs.
