Cowboy really needs........

    our prayers and thoughts....

    he and his boys have been getting ready for a parade, they shod the horses, had a new saddle for one of the horses. friday evening the boys were walking the horses along side their road when a car traveling about 60 hit them and the horses. the boys are in the hospital, his oldest has some broken vertabres and the younger is beat up pretty good. one of the horses stands 17 hands....a very big and heavy horse, about 2000 lbs. knocked it 130 ft, killed it and the other was also killed. cowboy wont be on much untill all this passes......will keep ya updated as i get reports......

    I just got off of the phone with Cowboy. They have brought Timothy home and is as comfortable as he can be. Adam, Cowboys youngest boy is still in the hospital but is doing well considering. I asked what the doctors were saying as far as if they thought there would be some debilitating long term affects and the impression that I got was that the doctors are confident that they both will make a full recovery. Adam will have to wear a neck and back brace for about three months.

    The people that hit them were teenagers and they were not arrested. Cowboy had said that they figure that the kids were going about 45 mph but that may be disputed. It was a 40 mph zone. Both horses were killed and there was an eyewitness to what happened.

    I told Cowboy of all the kind words and prayer thoughts and prayers from all of us and he says THANK YOU and appreciates it very much..

    I will let you all know what is happening as I know it and I am sure Chucktx will as well.

    Thanks for the update JB, I really feel terrible for them and am very glad to hear that both the boys will recover. Please let us know if any of us can do anything to help.
