Here in AZ we have been around 104 today and then the monsoons came in. Within 5 minutes we dropped to 75 and the dry washes were white water rivers! Crazy state AZ. :p

This is one of the normally dry washes where I hike my dailey 5 miles. I've never seen it wet!

Tried a video didn't work. Storms continuing and the water still rising. I just tried a video of the same wash (earlier post) where the water is now above the left hand path! Pretty awesome to witness. I can see how people get stranded or drown, there are crazies out wading and playing in these torrents.

You hike 5 miles a day? I walk maybe 1 or 2 miles a day with Radar in the mornings. (That's Radar in my avatar keeping the pinheads out). 5 miles would wipe us out!

5 miles fast walk. Used to jog before my layoff then coranary stents. Now walk to extend useful life of my ticker! At home. Its all hills. Get home wetter than a trout!

As it turns out, the torrents in the dry washes claimed a 2 yr old boy last night half mile from where I'm at. Very sad.
