Has anyone ever switched the stock CV carb accelerator pump jet for a CVP version ? I have bought a replacement but I am not sure how the stock jet is removed.

im having a hard time with the measurement of 1/16" gap..is that 1/16" referring to the space at the bottom of the channel for the bowl seal..or the top part? how critical is the gap and aligment of the spray path ? i have the spray part as close to the center of the carb throat as i can get it..just not real sure about the gap the nozzle is supposed to have at the bottom
