    Hi all.
I put an original CV 40 on a 78 shovel. No air leaks, jetted properly using stoic numbers and exhaust oxygen sensor, accelerator pumps works correctly. Problem is that when accelerating gently before the operation of the accelerator pump such as when adjusting slightly for an increased road gradient or increasing speed gently the carb is leaning out out until a constant throttle position is attained. If the throttle is yanked open and the accelerator pump is brought into play the problem is not experienced. How do I enriched the mixture on throttle opening but before accelerator pump operation?

Maybe increase the intermediate jet size?
