Cv carb trouble

    i have a 79 sporty that i put a cv carb on. My question is where do i draw vacuum from for the carb

    Shouldn't have to draw any vac from the carb, unless you have a vac operated petcock there should be a brass tube on the top of the intake manifold that you connect a rubber hose from the petcock to the intake for the vac...

    Otherwise the carb won't need vac to operate...

    If you have a high flow non vac petcock you need to cap the vac port with a rubber cap and a zip tie.
