Not saying how good this is. DaFish said he had a First Gear Textile Jacket, he told me how much he liked it.
They had sold out of First Gear Jackets. Not gonna get any in no time soon.
He showed me the First Gear and the Bilt in his catalog. They are made the same and out of the same material. Wanted a light weight jacket that I could carry that is not expensive and I'm not scared it might get stole like my 650.00 FXRG leather jacket I've had for 6 yrs.
So I got this jacket. This is product 683518
It was on sale for 149.00, has a removable liner and is water proof.
Waiting till I can try this coat.

You would have to walk in a Cycle Gear and try one on.
No to people are built the same.
    It fits me pretty good.
The inside zip out liner feels good.
It has a lot of zippers to use for letting air in.

That's the jacket I wear. I also have a couple of FXRG jackets that never come out of the closet anymore. I've been wearing the Kilimanjaro for a few years. All you need is one jacket when you tour. I use the gerbings electric liner underneath..just a great coat. I got the silver..probably shoulda got the black.

I bought the FXRG jacket 6 yrs ago.

    Well I changed my mind.

Think after some other folks posted and said they had both the First Gear and the Olympic that they liked the Olympic better.
Appreciate you giving me a heads up on the first gear man.

Well I cancelled the 1st order and ordered a Olympic jacket

Good looking jacket, lots of features. I have a jacket from Leather UP, a Xelement Extreme Tri-Tex, not as expensive as the Firstgear, maybe not as many features, but close. Has two liners, one waterproof, one quilted. Been wearing about year and a half, been in down pour and temp down to 30*, comfortable in both. Is like having 3 jackets, for the money has been a good deal. I like the underarm vents on the 1st Gear jacket...

Yea will look just like a Canadian Mounted Police wearing that jacket riding your black steed. :D

The First gear is a better jacket you'll like it, I have a first gear and they are excellent quality.

Well I had my Harley Long sleeve shirt on and my HD leather vest.
Put my Olympia AST 2 jacket on. zipped it up, didn't button the flaps, and had a pair of white mule leather gloves on.
Its 43* outside and the wind is blowing about 30 mph across the lake.
My hands got cold in the White mule gloves.
I like how the collar is tall and fits good around the neck
    My ears was freezing.
The jacket felt good. No wind coming threw it.
With my Freeze out top this will be a great jacket.
I really like that its a 3/4 jacket. Longer than my leather FXRG jacket

Those look like nice jackets. I wonder if they make them all black? Never cared much for the different colors on one jacket. I'd buy a black one, I think.

JB mine is Black and peuter, they have Black and blue and black and yellow which is very popular.

they have scotchlite in them so its reflective in the dark
If you can't live with the black and peuter.
I would look at a First Gear Kilimanjaro
It might not be quit as warm or quit as water proof.
but its a kick ass jacket

Put a long sleeve Harley shirt on, my Harley leather vest and my new Olympia AST2 jacket on and my pair of insulated chaps I got at Cycle gear.
    It was 33* outside.
Left and rode 10 miles to town. Ate breakfast at Whataburger and rode to the bank and back.
    Hit 90mph on hiway 59.
No cold air come threw the jacket. It kept me warm. Felt good
    Think I will keep it.

I've never liked cold. I like running around in a Tshirt and ball cap .
I live on a lake, I like the sun.
Don't like it over cast and raining or cold. And I hate snow.
    I've always hated snow.

I was lookin for a comfortable jacket that was waterproof, windproof. Would keep me warm.
    I got a versital jacket.
I like it the way it feels.
    Still have my FXRG jacket.

This is the 3rd motorcycle jacket I've bought since I was in my 30's
My old Bates I wore when I was 34 got too small for me.
I weighted 138 lbs then I weigh 195 lbs now.

Got 2 motorcycle jackets now that I can wear. ONe leather and one textile.
And if you don't like somebody that changes their mind on a dime.
Better not hang around with me.
