OK, now changing the heads is something that I am willing do do vs. spending money on porting and other stuff that just may not turn results that I am looking for.

This is a poll to see which heads are the most popular. The choices given are the only ones that I am interested in at this point So please, if you don't like these two choices, DON'T PARTICIPATE....

If you have any specific reasons as to why you made the choice that you did, I am interested in hearing it..

OK, I voted for the SE 55cc heads because these heads are the ones that were recommended to me. After installing these heads my bike ran way better than that of the stock heads. I have no idea about the flow characteristics of these heads over the ThunderStorms so I am going to stay with these for now.

very hard to have a "best head",one head may be the best for a certain build, but not good for another build.its up to the combination of parts being used to work in unison with the heads that will best fit that perticular build

Another Reason I suggested to talk to a Head man. Like Bean.... Or Scott.
They would know what to do and could advise you.
But if'n yer carb is giving you problems, you need to fix that 1st or you might just create a bigger problem.

    Don't think he's building a Race bike.

It may have to fit his price range too.
Had a set of Big Boyz heads on a 103 WGl they did great.
But Scott With Hillside does some good heads as well Wolfgang grasser.

What do you mean he don't want a race bike. Didn't he post that he rides it wide open between the gears.
