So, I am wondering if anyone has heard of the company D&D.... and what kind of quality they have for their pipes?! I am looking at the True Dual headers.... D&D Exhaust | Harley Davidson | 2007 Duelies Head Pipe I know that V&H is one of the standards, but these headers have the O2 sensor ports that actually fit and work with the Zippers module....

I had the D&D Boarzilla on my 124 great pipe very good fit and finish and sounded really mean, the only problem in the design is the boarzilla is upswept for a softail, so I couldnt run my bags on the heritage, I eventually sold it. Only because it kept me from running my bags.

They are a good company and have good pipes, the Fatcat is a good 2-1 performance pipe.

The fit and finish on D&D pipes is great. Their chrome looks like it was poured on it is so deep. My only complaint is the look of the collector on their 2into1 pipes because it does look massive. But they do sound nice and deep.

I have the Fatcat 2into1 and can say quality is top notch. They have nice stuff you can be sure it will be a good choice.

So, one place I have found my new future pipes wants something like $600 plus shipping....think I saw another site that is selling for 450ish...... anyone know of a reputable shop selling them for good cost? Want to say the 450 was one of the Ebay stores...... don't distrust it, but don't trust it either!! I am looking for the 2007 (with O2 sensor bungs) True Dual Headers by D&D. Thanks!

Also, looking at the Thundermax.... anyone know of reputable shop with good cost? First shop I have found has the ThunderMax w/Autotune : $869.95....plus shipping. Not sure if this is good price, high, or low..... any input greatly appriciated!

Try CalifPhil at www.harleypartscheap.com tell him I sent you,
probably won't be worth anything to you, but It might get me a free tshirt :roflmao:

Phil is a good guy, sometimes his parts are pretty competitive.

You also have Jenny at JSapyta at aol.com you need the Drag or CCI number of the part when you email her for prices. Shes at Charlies HD in Charleston WV

Glad to hear it, Phils a good guy stand up too,

Also Amy and Bill at Bishops Performance are good for parts, some stuff phil doesnt carry or if you are thinking of making performance upgrades bill has three stages of head work from mild to strip, he can bore cyl, cases just about anything,

He's got some killer 113 tc's roaming around the country and he did my buds evo Elbruto bitch motor over

Fixed the heads, cyl, did extra work to make them fit properly, a long story.

nope...but it may feel like it when I am done!!! :D nope....biggest thing is that I think I can improve the MPG and power with the closed loop system, and I have ALWAYS wanted true duals..... Then I will be done....at least until I find something else that I want to do!

course, now the challenge...how to order and receive without wife intercepting the boxes.....then the putting all together when she isn't around.......

trust me....that thought HAS crossed my mind!!! ;)

What is really sad is that I could probably have stuff delivered by this weekend....So, if I would have been able to make the Galviston Rally, I would have delivered down there someplace, and had LOTS of help and cold beverages to put it all together!

By the time I got there, they would probably be looking pretty good on your bike! I have to work this weekend....fri/sat/sun, 12+ each day.....figure about 38 hours in those 3 days alone.....forget about rally, I get to run a 48 bed ward for the weekend. (ya, they are leaving me in charge!! )

Had D&D Fat CAt on my 07 Wide Glide and the Thundermax with Auto tune. Was a great setup. Got good fuel mileage.
Now I got a 08 EGS. was waiting for TM to come out after the 1st of the year for the new 08 DBW on the touring bikes.
Gonna look at Rush slip on's or SuperTRapp that builder and Woods performance suggested.
