There is a guy at work that has a Street Glide and he has on a set of D&D "Fat Cats." I have never heard of these pipes. Has anyone here heard them (sound) or have used them??

yep, great sounding pipes, good power

I had a Boarzilla on my 124, sounded cool like
a stock car, raspy, rattle on throttle down.

I listened to that clip that you have posted, I did like the sound of them. I did not happen to see a set that would be good for a 103 though, or does it not really matter which pipe you use?

Thanks, I did take a look at their site and there wasn't anything there that interested me too much. I am real curious about these Borzilla's though.

That Fatcat can handle more than a 103, don't worry about it.

Boarzilla, stay away from unless you are playing with the High HP
    big inch boys......

Yea, but all this is just talk as JB has not even decided for sure on the bike yet and buy one. Really need to get the bike first, listen to other exhaust sounds from what other riders have, talk to them, do the research and then get a pipe you like in sound, performance and style.

You are wrong dude, I have decided on a bike..Said in earlier posts that I have to wait a little bit to actually get the bike because I want a decent size down payment. So this is not "just talk"

So far its just a lot of talk, I suppose for someone not very experienced in the exhaust for a touring bike that this could be useful but I've noticed in other areas as well that you do a lot of talk, get a lot of good worthy suggestions and then go off and do something else:rolleyes:. Like I said once and if you get the bike then start looking. Sorry you may not like what I said, but to me its all mute at this point until you actually get a bike. I understand about the down payment though.

I guess it is that I have to work with the situation that I am in. There are a lot of things that have been suggested here on this forum that I have listened to, and there are somethings that I haven't. No offense FLHT, but just because it was said here does not make it gospel. Like you said, they are suggestions. :D

What was it that you wanted me to look at with Renegade? I think that this D&D 2 into 1 is the best looking 2 into 1 on the market.

Hmm for someone that doesn't listen to anybody, I am starting to get into the 2 into 1 exhaust systems... :roflmao:

I don't care who you are that there was funny..... :roflmao:

JB, a ghost pipe is a true dual with a false pipe to balance
the look, JMO a waste of money,

The Fat Cat, ProPipe HS are all good looking and sounding pipes, best performer? maybe

You cannot beat a Supertrapp Supermeg 2:1 disk exhaust as it allows
tuning the exhaust to the needs of the bike, it can be stealthy or loud
or deep rumble, very good pipe and IMHO one of the better ones.

Remember on a bagger TQ is the key not HP.......

I have ordered the Fullsac X pipe B for my 110, that way
I have duals and a cross over, no cats and better performance and the stock
heat shields will cover it up...

Installed the CVO 110 2 inch baffles in the stock mufflers
from FullSac last night, sounds better, deeper but not loud
remember you will have Tunes on the bagger...

Again it's about TQ not HP, on a big 900 pound bike...

It has been a while since I have looked at the supermeg, can you get a slimmed down meg for it?? Half of my issues with the Supertrapps is that the exit part of the pipe is just huge!!!!

JB, you are close to Sturgis at least a lot closer than I am. Go to Sturgis this year, test ride the new Harley's and check out all the vendors that sell exhaust. Will help you immensely. I just came back from Good Vibrations rally and Vance & Hines had a big setup. Got to look at em all, hear them, touch them and talk to them. Sturgis they will all be there. You can talk about it till your blue in the face but until you look and touch up close you simply won't know.
By the way I don't mind being compared to CB, cause there are times when he makes a lot of sense. Sometimes not but to me your spinning your wheels before you even get another bike. Heck, you may decide to buy a softail then you gotta start all over again with the what about this and that. ;)

The problem with that is the wife doesn't want a softtail and neither do I. I really wish I could out to Sturgis so I could do that, but it is unfortunate that I can't. I will just have to settle bt making my choice by asking questions here, sorry dude, this is the best that I can do.
