    Actually days like this SUCK!. My daughter and granddaughter are so far away in California. I hate being reminded. So I'll have another beer. Ya, I got the card and phone call. Just ain't the same as having them with you. Best to ya all though. Enjoy.

    I didn't get a phone call or a card just a Facebook post from my daughter. Oh well.

    But here is to my dad who was my best friend for many years after I came back from Vietnam.

    FLHT that's great she did that for you , as for the rest all my kids are out of town this weekend , so last weekend they gave me a great Sunday , & yester they were all together & sent me a pic of them all together with the grandkids :) & all have text or call me all day , so it's been a great week from Sunday to Sunday so I have a week over you two yanks on the Best dad LOL Hope ya'll have a wonderful day

    Sorry guys, talked to both daughters again today and they assured me I was the best dad in the world.

    On a serious note, attached a pic of my dad and I probably 15 or 20 yrs ago, not sure. We had just finished a day hiking and scouting at our cabin in the mountains of southwest Virginia.... man do I miss him... Daddy and I at cabin.jpg
