    A couple of us locals are talking about making a trip down...
    Nothing concreted in yet as to dates though ...
    One fella is talking about trailering his??? I ain`t!!!

    Riding down from NC... planning to leave Thursday and be there this Friday afternoon through Sunday, heading home Monday, all the time I have. Gonna be cold Thursday AM ... guess I'll earn mine!

    Left Asheville at 8:30, cold and rain. Cleared after I got off the mountain. SC good, Georgia great. Stopped in Waycross to spend the night. Bad choice of roads to get off the mountain, lost an hour in the rain and fog. Came down middle of Georgia, stayed away from Interstates. Came 178, 28, 221, and US 1. Good roads, no traffic, just cruising. Guys that were coming all backed out, so I came by myself, gonna meet my daughter and her husband in Daytona. They are coming over from Orlando... I am OK with that. The guys who backed out, lost...I won! :D;)

    early 70`s I used to ride from Sebring, FL to Valdosta GA to meet up with Street Choppers "RUN to the SUN", then ride back to Daytona with 2,000 in formation with police escort...

    got lucky on ride down, mostly sunny till St Aug. Went through St Aug, then down A1A, really nice, always love that road, UNTIL ... half way Ormond Beach, the bottom fell out. Just bought new rain pants (real good choice) Rode until the standing water hit foot pegs, then said :wtf: .... time to stop. Saturday cloudy, but no rain till about 4pm, yep, got wet again ... that is ok, just part of it. We are getting ready to head out to Iron Horse, hit Boot Hill and Froggy's last night... with my daughter no less, pretty cool. One more day, then day and half riding back to NC. :cool:

    stopped by Dirty Harry's today. Wheather not so good, rain in the afternoon,ok though. will be back w/fatboy next week. maybe there Tuesday also.

    Pix when I get home, brought an old laptop we never got rid of so if it got wet or something, no big deal, real slow, hard to use, did not have anything I could figure out to downsize pix to attach.

    C46, I was at Dirty Harry's as well, rained so hard at Iron Horse, had to come to main street so could duck inside from time to time. Rain was mostly south, just hung over Ormond Beach for hours. :)
