My buddy came back home last nite.
He said when he was down there he notised that No car pulled out in front of them or cut them off. He tripped out. He said everybody in Cages is being extra nice.
When him and the rest of the group got to the motel he turned on the TV and they had the news on.
The news people was interviewing the police chief about Bike Week and all the motorcycles.
The Police Chief said I've said on TV that during bike week, for all employers to expect their employees might come in late and to accept that.
I've said if anybody in a car is involved in a wreck with a motorcycle and the person on the motorcycle hits the ground, Its automatically the cars fault.
And the person in the car will go to Jail and will have to stay there until Bike week is over. No exceptions.
The TV reporters said so how many wrecks have you had, the police chief said None. And I better not hear of one either.

My buddy said no wonder everybody is being so nice. Man that in itself was great.

I saw one wreck on day one Friday, early afternoon looked like the guy on the bike rear ended a car, not hurt, bike hurt but not him.

It was a little down crowd wise because it was friggin cold in the 40's and 30's at night
so the local crowds (ride in for night time) were lower.

We had a great time, didn't see a lot of folks pulled over, you have to remember Daytona has a large police motor fleet, they ride.

As long as you are not an idiot you're going to be fine and have fun..
