I just had the local dealer here in Tri-cities Washington try to charge me five bucks for ups for a stock mirror (06 road glide) and another five for a parts book. Whats this world coming to. They don't have a mirror for a bike that's only five years old and want to charge me for ups. I don't get it! :wtf:

Our dealer in Portland has never charged a shipping fee on a order, they do require you to pay for it when it is ordered which I do understand. Is this the new dealership that just opened recently?

Our dealer does not charge us any shipping fee even for a non-Harley item. You just got to pay for it up front.

Yes it is a new stealership, and the only stealership in town. I have NEVER been charged a shipping fee for a Harley part from a Harley stealership. it's the thought of a stealership thinkin that they are the only gave in town. I can understand bein charged up front, been there done that. This is ONE of the reasons I do as little business as possible with stealerships. I was going to get one mirror (right) that matched the other (left) so I would not have to buy two that matched. I can use e-bay just fine, there are many other places I can get part number 91974-98B or one just like it for cheaper. There take that.

If you ever get down to Portland Latus Motors has a used parts store with tons of used stuff. They got mirrors coming out their ears. If you ever go in there your gonna be simple amazed. I've picked up stuff like a right mirror in their myself. I've also taken stuff in the and sold it to them (take off stuff I don't need).
They have stuff like tranny's and tranny parts, engines and engine parts
body parts, wheels seats just everything you can think of. If you try and call on a Saturday you might not get through as they are so busy in their. Plus they ship :)

Do they have an internet site for that part of their business, I'd like to find a good SE 6 speed tranny gear set for my 05 softtail.
