Am kinda set up to do the 110th rally but have some guys that want me to do Sturgis this year. Would really like to do both but can't. So what to do, the rooms at the 110th are very expensive and can camp at Sturgis. Like I said decisions?

The 110th will never come again. AND there is a good chance your bud from Lhunn Gilan may be there!

You can camp in Milwaukee. Find an overpass.

Well I have a room there so no need for an overpass or underpass but that could prove to be an interesting night. Or can you say Party time, bring it on.
So you going by yourself, with Charlie, HRK, wife or someone else?

The club is going and so far it's up to about 15 bikes. There is a chance that I will go since I can split a room with 2 buds. But, im facing surgery on my right ankle (old injuries from football and me getting old) may knock me off the scooter for 6 weeks or more.

Wife can't ride anymore, spinal stenosis. I know you we're joking about the mysterious HRK! And Charlie has an additional 1600 miles so I doubt he would go.

The 110th is at the end of August and beginning of September.

Fatboy when will you know if your going. I have not heard much from the two guys that are supposed to go to the 110th with me. Maddog is one of them but have not heard much from him or the other guy if they are still going. Might get a bit expensive and the guys going to Sturgis are camping.

I would go to Sturgis. Much better riding around those parts than Milwaukee. It's a long shot for me to go to the 110th. If I could I'd go to Sturgis myself.

You don't have to stay in Milwaukee to do that run. There are so many towns nearby (30 - 60 minutes ride or so), that's what I'd look for if you want to avoid the overcharges - and many of those places are cool towns to visit anyway. I don't have to tell ya - but I will remind ya anyway - those out-of-the-way stops are usually the best for memories (unless the Hills Have Eyes!).

I likely won't go this year, as Johnny Biker & Hot Rider are riding out here in July and my Racine WI pal is moving to England, but I do enjoy that part of the country - when it is warm, that is! Was at Great Lakes NTC in Winter 1977-78, and that was not much fun (well, we did snowmobile Lake Geneva, and that was a hoot).

Got to talk to Maddog when he gets back from AZ. From the pic he sent me with him dancing with some blonde and being single as he is he may never come back. :)
We have a room already reserved in the downtown area. The more I hear about it the less fun it sounds. But then, I may be totally wrong to. I'm more in for the riding and seeing those small towns.
