Any one out there find or know where to find a steel braided chrome fuel line for a 2006 deuce? The oney one that harley has that i have found, is for the dyna. Tired of looking at the old black one. A braided steel one would look better. roger cowboy1948@att.net :banghead: :gah:

just got done messing with mine. that fuel line is sold as a unit. the only one i know of who even sells the stock one is the steeler. both ends of that line has a quick release built into it, and the line is high pressure. the only way i could think would be some sort of braided sleve. i'll tell you, you're in for some serious :gah: and lots of :witsend: and plenty of :banghead: i would ingore it and find other ways to make your ride look better, good luck:D

yep hoses have special fittings on the end.

I'd say unless you switch to a carb you're stuck.

this is what i would do with the ugly hose/hoses. paint them. even put a design on them to replicate steel braid. when properly preped the hoses will hold the paint for quite some time, as long as they are not subjected to abraision and fluids.:)
    winter project???

hay everyone. went out to the deuce. took a good look at the fuel line. pulled the quick disconnet where it connects into the tank. it has a clamp on it, removed the clamp, pulled the rubber fuel hose right off. it is not a solid peice. so braided fuel line can be used.it just has a QD at the tank and the EFI. going to get me some steel braided fuel line and the chrome compression fitting, the ones that are on the end of the braided cross over line, and replace the black fuel line. ride safe and have fun everyone.
