    1. noticeable loss of power and pick up. the bike isn't able to accelerate very well
    2. giving the bike throttle at start up with the choke even half way will make it stall.
    3. After warm up, the throttle works but the RPM's hang if rev'd

Those are some of the symptoms that can happen. CV Performance has a great rebuild kit and you can get their rebuild kit here on bike talk.
Also make sure you have a HD repair manual, its you bible.

in order to get a new diaphram you have to get the complete slide, you might try jpcycles.com

Local dealer should have them also. But as long as your going to dive in you might as well get kens kit and do it right.

which kit has the diaphragm and spring in it? I looked on the web-site and didn't see one with the diaphragm and slide in it.I would rather get one from Ken,if possible.

I don't sell a replacement slide/diaphragm as this is only a stock HD item. You can get them cheaper than most local dealers at Zanotti motors.

At your local dealer the part number is 27585-88
