We have a couple of Scottish Terriers, way cool dogs.
My little one has Dog addinsons, has to have a shot every 25 days, and a 1/2 pill a day for life. Shot is $70.00 per time. If she were a Lab it'd cost about 3 times that amount. Seems like thay get a toy a week and treats every night at 8:15.

People don't realize how much responsibility comes with a dog.
You can't just git one and throw em in the back yard or chain em up, or put them in a kinnle and leave em....

There are to many people that do not take care of their pets (dogs or cats) and shouldn't have em. We have a stray cat that someone dumped off and the wife made him a shelter in the back and feeds him everyday. She's got a big soft spot, must be why I like her so much.:)

Had a huge Black Lab about six years ago. Great for ducks and geese, and was wonderful at chasing the racoons out from under the house. Hurt like heck when he died. Now a big German Shorter Pointer (85lb - he's almost a third bigger than most other GSPs I've seen) is my hunting pardner, though I don't go after ducks and geese with him (his short hair doesn't protect him enough from the ice, and he'd be miserable sitting in the blind while cold & wet). We'll be heading out for quail this morning as soon as I get some "can't wait" chores done. Since we had about an inch of snow last night, he'll be happy to prance in his hunting circles for hours. Dogs are cool.

Our dogs are family to us. Probably sounds strange to non-dog people but my wife tends to make plans around how it will impact the care of our dogs. They really are like her children.

yep, most all dogs are cool in one way or the other, Ours get a special breakfast on weekends, scrambled eggs and cottage cheese with there dry food, we call it eggs and toast. Max sleeps on the foot of the bed, Daisy Dukes sleeps in her kennel untill about 5:00 am, then she like to get up on my pillow. We tell'em they are so spoiled that a coyote wouldn't eat'em.

You can't just leave her outside, gotta watch her, rabbit might eat her.
Hate to see what a mad cat would do to her !!
