    We've had a couple months now with no rain and won't get much rain now until probably October-November. The problem here is we have so much vegetation and trees here that when there is no rain for awhile it really drys out rather quickly. By the time the fall comes around we have usually had several forest fires.

    Was just up in your country a month ago and rode the Parkway. Stopped at the HD shop there in Asheville. Looks very similar except you guys have much more hardwood trees than we do.

    Yep, pretty country here. Good rides both north and south on Parkway out of Asheville. Best rides are loops off Parkway, not much traffic. Can ride for days and never repeat same ride. Lucky to live here!

    We had a couple of fires here in eastern N.C. early this summer. Some days the smoke was pretty bad blowing in from the coast. The fires burned a long time . . .
