Drive belt info needed

    I broke a drive belt the other night , don't know how was just cruzen around midnight , anyway , I have a 136 tooth belt has about 200 miles on it , my book call's for a 139 tooth belt , will it work 136 v 139 , does anyone know if the rear wheel will suck up that almost 1 in bike is a 03 FLHTP( cop e glide ) with 59K plus miles

    1 inch of travel in the rear wheel is a lot to suck up......i dont think you have that much travel. the belt should fit otherwise i believe. the groves should be the same.....i think!! how many miles on the old belt?? does it look like a rock/object got caught in it?? how do the pulleys look??

    Don't know what the old belt looked like when it broke , went back today to see if I could find it no luck , the other belt(136 T ) has no more then 500 miles on it , it's just 3 teeth lest then my parts book call's for my bike at 139T , it does fit good in my rear sprocket , started to take it apart , then gun fire started one neighbor was shooting at the other , grab my two ypoung grand kids & got them in the house & had them get down & called the cops talked one to go put his pistol up (he did) the other kept his shotgun pionted at the other & kept saying he was going to kill him sad to say the dummie never went to jail but should have :gah:

    yep living in the county is a lot of fun sometimes
    Oh ya rear sprocket has a couple of fine chips in a few teeth , just don't think I can aford a sprocket right now :(
