Has anybody queried DUNLOP Tire to find out why they don't offer the Elite III in a whitewall version.
I like the tire but feel it's looks could be improved by the addition of side walls that ain't black. Would look good on all those big tour bikes.:)

Those Elite III tires are darn good tires and have more tread on them than the stocker. I put a set on a Roadking I had and they lasted about 5,000 more miles than the stock tire did. Handle good to. As for white wall, don't think there gonna do it but they you can get them with raised white lettering.

Chucktx got me to run a Elite III a couple years ago.
After a couple months I took it off and ordered my another Mu85B16 Metzler.

Talkin about that. I just went to Texas V-Twins today with my wheel and had a New MU85B16 Metzler on the back of my bike.
    I like Metzler tires.
I could git better tire milage out of the tires if I could control twistin the throttle as hard.

The dude I git my tires from will charge you extra just for askin for white wall tires.

Oh yea, when I worked at the Indy shop. The whitewall tires were harder to balance and usually took more wheel weights.

And I got 2in1 pipes, they kinda got on my nerves.
And we was going on the trip to Campwood and see The Alamo Village and ride the Twisted Sisters and drink a Redneck Budweiser at Lukenbach.
    And ride Willow City Loop.
I didn't think I could listen to it for over 1500 miles.

Remember it was 101* at 9:00am in the mornin.
    It was hot!
And the heat in June was even hard on the tires rolling on the Hot Black Top.
The bikes were loaded down too.

Try a 880 metzler. They don't follow the grooves in the road like the dunlops.

They are a little softer and stick to the road.

But they git a little less tire milage than the Elite 3.

    I really like them.

Know the only thing between you and the Blacktop is yer tires.
