So I had my tires replaced by my Indy. I pulled off the rear and brought it in and for about 200 buck had a new Dunlop 401 mounted and balanced. My bike has the chrome Thunderstar wheels and I was perturbed that the stick on weights were gray. Since its hard to see my rear wheel I let it go. Went back to Indy and said if ya wanna sell me my front tire us betta get chromed weights. He did and I brought him my front wheel. Bike has been sitting in garage now for about 2 weeks cause of my surgery and the weights fell off. €>¥^#%^#}.
    I ordered Dyna Beads.

Wow stop Fatboy. Look at the Ride On product. Tire Sealant | Puncture Repair | Flat Tire Repair | Tire Protection Systems for Motorcycle, Automotive, ATV and Heavy Equipment - Ride-On

It balances and will seal if a nail punctures the tire. I had it put in my ties and the stuff is great. Friend of mine got a nail in his rear tire and when he pulled it out it sealed it. It also balances your tires. I don't have any weights on either of my tires. Stuff works great, check it out.

Years ago I used something similar. It was called ACP. Same principle. Thing is doesn't that stuff make a gooey mess when changing the tires??

No it clings to the inside of the tire and not the wheel. That's what I like about it.

I'll look for it. But I had visions of my Indy changing the tire next time and the beads spill out and he slip slides on the beads! Ha!

Fatboy, FLHT is right, I started using Ride on 2 tires ago and think its a great product, no need to balance externally, the product washes out with water and more importantly you get flat protection. Can't get that with weights.

The following was cut n paste from their website:

Ride-On (TPS) tire sealant is chemically inert, and will not attack the tire or wheels. Ride-On (TPS) contains corrosion inhibitors that protect steel and aluminum wheels and tire belts against corrosion.
