I am waiting around like "Little Johnny" to get a call saying that my bike is done and off of the dyno. I called the shop because I just couldn't take it anymore.. No answer, that never happens usually... I wonder if it was because he couldn't hear the phone.....:D

Not sure, I would hope that he tunes it. If I have to bring it back for him to tune I will be a little upset. I am betting that I will get a phone call tomorrow.

Well you can't be upset if you didn't tell
him to tune it, and to just run it.

It will be interesting to see how
the numbers changed with a single
    jet change and new pipes

I was telling Cowboy over the phone that I had a sneaking suspicion that I will be looking for different cams. I hope that that is not the case, but I am prepared.

maybe not, just unless you want them

Have you talked with cam people about your
build and what they suggest for your engine
combination of heads, pistons, carb and pipes

Also while he's got it have him do a compression
test see where those cylinders are now, it makes
all the difference on power and cam selection.

You don't want to buy a bigger cam and find
out you now need head work to make it work.

HRK is right , if your tuner does his job right , your not trying to make a fire breather high HP engine , you'll find you have a top running bike

I got my bike back from the dyno and yes he did tune it too. He put a new emulsion tube (Cycle Pro) a 44 pilot (Cycle Pro) and a 170 main in (Cycle Pro) My Hp and torque is 70 and 70. Time for new cams. I did take my bike out for a good cold run and my bike is completely different. Way more responsive, picks up speed quick, Just not the power that I want... Told you Cowboy.:D

Did you get the charts?? Kinda surprising that he put a 44 pilot in when he kept saying no to a 45... and a 170 main??.. When you had the 180 main jet your top end AFR's were lean(altho never went over stoich)...I'm not knocking, but I didn't think you needed a smaller main jet....I had figured one size down on the pilot and one up on your main..

I think that it has a lot to do with the different emulsion tube that he put in. I was surprised as well, but then that is when he told me what he put in, I about shiit myself. He said that he just couldn't get it tuned with the N65c needle. So, in went the adjustable.....

From this engine combination I wanted at very minimum 75/75. I didn't get it so I am going to most likely go the SE .575 cams which should give me about 80 and that is what I can live with. My guy is getting going on researching the efficiency of my heads at what lift my heads flow the best. Check this out, for dyno time, tuning it (labor) and the kit that he used, I was only charged $60... Not bad....

Don't buy any cams until you do compression check

You could go backwards or nowhere. Go to advance or pep boys get one. $20 or so check at home filter off plugs out tester in one cyl at time
Roll throttle to wot hold run starter a out three or four turns per cyl. Get reading.

You might just need thinner head gaskets.
