I finally had my '07-FLHTi dyno tuned at:RC-cycles in Hayward,Ca.:D
The dyno tune gained me 12HP's & 11ft. lbs. of torque. This had to be the most labor $$$ I've ever paid someone else to work on my motorcycle.I must say I'm completely satisfied & glad I had this done.I read other forums about dyno-tunes & decided to git her done.00 wildglide:cool: :D

Sounds good. Was this tuning to bring new gear into tune or is your ride still stock-tuned?

    Red Rider,
The dyno tune was needed due to me changing cams(Andrews-37H/.510lift).I had pretty good performance before the tune with the Thunder-header,Arlen Ness air cleaner,& PCIII(using their recommended map). The difference felt in the bikes acceleration from a roll is amazing!
I've always heard others talk about dyno-tuning being the only true way of getting all the potential HP's & torque,I now believe. The funny thing is,I used to be a 100% carburetor guy.I still like the Mikuni flat slides but,E.F.I. , DYNO's & no choke knobs...pretty cool.
I would recommend doing the majority of modifications "before" having it dynoed just to get your moneys worth.00 wildglide:cool:

I've gone into rc several times looking for parts and was treated like I was bothering them as soon as I told them I do my own labor

    Steve,
I know what you mean.I kinda got that impression also but, thought about the main reason why I was there;get the bike tuned.I figured hey,it's not like I'm gonna be hanging with these guys or anything like that.Being in the automotive industry for sometime has introduced me to some "quirky" type people although these same people are pretty talented at what they do.I've purchased 3 of my motorcycles between 2 H-D dealerships in the 30 mile radius from my home & still get the feeling I'm "bothering" them at times.I guess "business" is "business"

I've heard nothing but good things about the mechanical part of the store but the parts dept. sucks I was buying most of my parts at san ramon HD but they closed down a couple of weeks ago and the rest of the dealers in the area suck if you pay cash at ron simms you get decent parts prices I have the clutch out of his bagger in my fxdx it cost me 200 bucks with about 60 miles on it my hub sheared the drive splines where do you live maybe we can get together for a putt
