I would like step by step instruction on removing the electrical panel cover on my 2003 Dyna Super Glide. My son got me a chrome cover to replace the original,& my current financial situation requires that I become a do it yourselfer. I have instructions for mounting the new cover, but other than suggesting that I disconnect the battery,no advise or directions for removing the original equipment. It looks simple (remove the 4 hex head screws) but I have learned that appearances are decieving & would appreciate experienced advise. Thanks in advance

well the best tool for the do it your selfer is the repair and service manuel it can get you both into and back out of sticky situations, as for the panel it can be pretty straight forward as long as you pay attention to where and how things are take notes, pictures, and mark anything that you might get crossed and mixed up. have fun and keep us posted on your journey to self reliance
