I had Harley install a big bore kit (1450 to 1550), new cams, and pushrods and lifters. Since then it seems there is ALLOT I repeat ALLOT more heat coming from the engine now and it even seems that sitting at idle for a period of time the idle seems to go down and almost seems like it may stall, I don't let it as I keep the throttle turned a little, so I don't actually know if it will stall.

Anyone know what i should do or what it could be and do you think that heat deflectors will help IF the heat is normal?

It is a 2002 Heritage FLSTCI.

    Thanks

Did you go back to where the work was done, what did they say?? I would tend to look at the timing, how does it start, is there any pre ignition going on? If the dealer won't take care of it check the timing. If the timing is good pull the plugs you might be running lean.

Just let it go and see if it stalls, it won't kill the bike. Get back to your dealer and get some answers. They love the cash, but not the complications, so be firm. Good luck.
