Took the motorcycle to dealer last week. They put a Mukuni on, and they didn't get it tuned right. They also took some led lights off and said the guy that put them on cut into the main harness. I told them to take the lights off.

This is the problem now.... When I start it, after it fires up, the engine light comes back on for a few seconds. I tuned the carb, and the light still comes on sometimes now. So do you think it's the carb or the wiring that is doing it?

Sounds like an old code. After a certain number of starts it will clear itself if its a old code.

I have started at least 20 times. How many do you think it would take?

I think it's 50 times, not 100% sure though...if the bike is running good I wouldn't worry about it...you could take to the dealer and get them to check the codes and clear them for you if you want it to stop.

    50 times

You don't have to start it, just cycle the ignition switch on and off 50 times...

Yea I was thinking 50 times but was not sure and didn't want to tell him something wrong.

The way our weather is this year I don't think I'll get 50 starts for the whole year.:(
