Evo/Pan

    I was wondering can you install a pan top on an evo bottom?

    Why would you want too?
    Shovel jugs on a pan I can see - but pan jugs on a EVO is takin a step backwards.

    Love the look of a pan no other reason I know the pan heads are not as good as shovel or evo but sometime you've just got to be different.

    yes, if you have the time and money...............most anything can be done. wont happen in the ol'garage, but if ya take all the stuff to a quality machine shop that knows harleys........i believe they can do it.
    if ya check the aftermarket, they have "pan" rocker covers to simulate the look.........just sayin.........

    Thank chucktx for the info well sounds like I will keep saving and find a panhead that I can afford and build it the way I want.Yes I have seen those just not the look I am after. Thanks again

    I will need to save several more pennies before I can afford it I wish I had the money as it is almost the same as what I have visioned in my head.

    seen a knuckle head /evo awhile back looked real good setting a softail frame it was those aftermarket ones on the top , the indy shop said it was w a real pain in the asz to get them right
