I have a 2008 sportster with slip on drag pipes. Im noticing that the inside of one of the pipes is darker than the other with exhaust residue. What could it be???? and why??.....:wtf::wtf:

It is normal. I suspect you have the stock crossover headers, and the way they work will cause one exhaust (I believe from the rear cyclinder) to run cooler and burn off less exhaust.

While drag pipes aren't the most efficient way to clear the fumes for your Sporty, (2-1 are), they work. The sooting can indicate other issues, like a carb jetting problem or (if an EFI bikea need to remap), but some sooting is to be expected.
