Heat. Usually cuz it’s running lean. When you put on free flowin pipes or air cleaner you are moving more air thought the engine and that leans out your air fuel mix. If you got a carb, you may have to re-jet or if it is EFI you could add a DFO or PCIII. Mine were turning gold, stock from the factory. HD makes them run a little lean like that because of all the EPA rules. Hope this helps.

Oh yeah. Gold is just the first color. It will slowly turn to blue if not corrected. But just a little color never hurt anybody. Give it character. Tell us more about your bike and we will be better able to help.

Did you rejet or remap your fuel intake? can't be too far off, or it would be turning blue pretty quik.

Good deal, and yes, it works on the gold coloring, just takes a while scrubbing, but overall, good stuff.

Yup, I haven’t used never-dull since I was in the Navy, it works real well. The Navy likes things bright and shiny.
