    Hi all

I wear glasses, and a few times now a bug has managed to somehow make it past all the hardware and plunk itself in my eye. Nothing serious but just really makes it miserable for an hour or two. I'm not real fond of contact lenses and was wondering if some of you that wear glasses have maybe come up with something that works.

ya got a fairing/windshield??? i have a batwing and wear glasses. a bug will get in there once in a while. a flipdown type face shield works....i dont wear one....also a full face works....i dont wear one....sometimes i wear a half helmet. there are goggles that fit over the glasses....i have worn them with success against bugs and dirt, but seem to fill them with sweat.....so i stopped wearing them. right now i keep some eyedrops in my bag and when the bug/dirt gets in there.....i use it. so far that is working for me.........

No fairing, but have a windshield. Line of sight is about 1.5 inches above the top of the windshield.

i think the best eye protection will be with the goggles.......try to find a good pair that wont fog, changable lens, or transitions......and breathe well.......

I have a solution for you. I also wear glasses and like Chuck I don't wear a full face helmet except on down pouring rainy days, which I usually don't bother to even start out on them.
I purchased 3 sets of Fit Over sun glasses and one clear for night. My windshields are both below eye level. The fit over glasses work for me real well. I purchased them at Walmart for under 20 a pair. They are larger than your regular glasses but they work very well.
