    I posted this yesterday, but I think I did it wrong. Excuse the repeat if it comes out that way:
    "I failed to emphasize the question about how much to drill out the baffles; 7/8" is what I heard someone say, (I think). Is there a recommended size??
    And is there a recommended method (for 04 FXDLI & FLSTCI)

    Depending on the type of baffle you can either use a hole saw to bore out the baffle or use a large bit like the 7/8" I have not come across a recommended size. You could start with 7/8 and go larger if desired.

    You could just punch them out vs drilling them out,

    At the cost of slip ons though why drill them out, the performance gain is nothing and may even be negative with respect to bottom end TQ numbers which is what your motor loves to make.

    A set of Khrome Werks slip ons or cycle shacks would do better and they are under $200 a set shipped.

    If the budget won't fit then get on ebay for a used set of performance slip ons, and save the stockers in case you sell it or need it for epa compliance down the road or noise problems with the LE in your area.
