Flhr front forks

    I'm wanting to lower the frontforks on my 07 roadking
    i bought the lowering spring kit from hd. Can i take the springs
    out from the top of the fork tubes and replace just the springs.
    p.s. i also bought the service book.:confused:

    tonyb I would read the front end section of the book , I have not yet had to take a RK or e glide front end apart , but if there like any other bike you need to drop the lower legs off as well , but like I said it's been a good while for front end work for me so read the book real good & good luck

    fhlr front forks

    Thanks cowboy for your input i was looking at the tear
    down of the forks and thought that i could do it that
    way.But maybe not .I do have a service book. Iwill do the swap this week
    end.thanks .
