    To All,

Looking back on my issues, has anyone put a Thunder-max EFI tuner on a 04 FI Road King with the 05/06 year model Rinehart true duels? I want your thoughts on the issue and if it is worth the money?

I have parts coming in to replace the fuel filter. Charging problem was resolved with new regulator install. I replaced the plugs but it is still cutting out and popping like mad on deceleration. I plan on replacing plug wires when I have the tank off to install fuel filter kit. No diagnostic codes are coming up so it’s something simple.

In closing, I wish all a safe weekend. Be well.

Check exhaust header might be leaking. Put in new gaskets

Sounds to me like your new fuel processor settings are screwed up. When dialed-in properly, you won't have any popping at all on decell. only a smooth growl down to about 1500 rpm, then the ECM kicks in the f.i. with a bit of fuel. Hotroadking may be right about leaking head pipe gaskets though.

If you can't get the settings for your particular exhaust system, try the settings for a different brand exhaust with similar pipes.
