FLHT Center Stand

I like It.

I've got a center stand on my '93 FLHS. It came with the bike when I bought it. I almost removed it because it was on a list of things my wife called "Old Man Looking Stuff". She wanted everything that looked like "An Old Man's Bike" removed before she would ride on it. (Really, ask CD).
Anyway, I pouted for a while and she gave in. I like it for several reasons. It makes checking the primary and transmission oil level easy and it makes storage area in the garage a little smaller. It also makes oil changes easy. I don't use it much in public because some butt head could push the bike forward and take it off the stand. Unlike the side stand which requires removing the weight before it will move.
I think mine came from HD but, I'll look around and see what I can find.

Centerstand

I have the Harley centerstand on a 2004 Ultra Classic. I do like it. Easier to clean bike and looks cool at a ride in. You can get it from Chicago Harley on line (with their 20% on line discount) for around $200. Good luck.

05ultra

Right now I have a '96 Electra Glide Classic with the display stand. It came with the bike when I bought it (3 years ago). I am in the process of selling that bike and have ordered an 05 ultra (thus the name). I have already begun buying accessories and the first thing that I bought for it was an HD display stand. Boston Harley had a 25 percent off cash sale and I jumped on it. I use it more often than the "jiffy" stand. I put my bike on a bike jack (Sears) to clean it and have found that I need to put a piece of 3/4 thick wood under the stand for the jack to fit under (in its lowest position). When I bought the bike, the salesman told me to get off the bike, facing toward the back of the bike on the left side, push down on the "tab?" to lower the stand and lift up on the rear crash bar while leaning toward the back of the back. I found that the best way to lower the display stand is to straddle the bike, pushing down on the "tab?" and pulling back on the handlebars. Brief bio - I'm 6'3" and weigh 310 lbs. You can often find me sitting at a red light with both feet on the floorboards. When the light changes, I drive right off of it. People behind you will think you have exceptional balance. I will never own another bike without one. Best of luck to those who serve this great country.

No Worries

CD and I are trying to figure out why the picture won't post, just the Link.
No worries getting the boat up the ramp. I have the ol' lady push from the deep end.
Besides, Dutch taught me a long time ago to leave the trailer on the boat. Helps in shallow water like sand bars. Also, the fender makes a great place to stand while fishing.
