    My name is Hard8Taylor
I have A 2002 flhtc from, day one, I have had a problem with the rear axle nut, and cam plate loosen up. And then the belt is out of adjustment, which makes the bike vibrate.
Has there been any fix for this problem? or has any one had this problem?

    Thanks Hard8

first, welcome.......second...you will get more responces to tech questions in the tech section....third...to keep the nut tight on the axle, torque it to specs and use loctite...hope this helps

    loose nut and belt

Hey thanks for the feed back.
I have done all of that, Its been in many different shops, and they all say
the same thing, and have done that, I have tried, many things,
Im thinking it might just be in the axle, and cam plate, or the numbs on the swing arm. But I can not get any specs, on that stuff, the book dose not give it,

Thanks again for the feed back

I do think its from the drivers side... lol I know ... some think different.
I think the dang thing ,,, that is the cam plate is hobbled out and is not setting right on the axle , how it has a taper to it. Or the axle threds are rolled. so when the nut gets tight the nuts rolls one thred or so.

I think I will just get a new axle and cam plate, nut and see if that changes things.

    Thanks again. Hard8
