Man we had a Bad storm in Livingston last nite. We got bad winds, lighting and a lot of wind and rain.

But Houston got a 500 yr rain.

    8-10" plua in 3 hours.
The interstates are under the water.
You want to stay away from Houston.

My OL said I'm not driving 88 miles to work.

    Thanks.

    I'm 4 counties from Houston.

But I have a Condo down there. Hope it didn't get any water. Don't know yet.

We got a lot of rain yesterday afternoon. Wind to 60mph, lighting and thunder.
Got up this morning at 5:20am turned the TV on and made coffee trying to get the OL ready to go to work.
When we seen the TV the OL said I ain't going to work today.
    She has a Brand New 2014 F140 4x4.

The interstates in houston downtown area and Galleria area are under Water.

She called in and they said the office which is in the Galleria area is closed.

Sounds like you need a WWII Duck to get around...

Mother Nature has been freaky. Us with the bizarre winter and now Texas with the rain. And she's not done.

Hope y'all are starting to dry out down there. We had our 500 year flood in '99 when we moved here, after a 500 year flood in California where we lived. Those floods were both in the summer that year. Never want to see that kind of weather ever again.

Don't blame her for not wanting to go to work with all that flooding. Cardboard I thought you said that she retired? Stay safe and watch those snakes and gators headed for higher ground.
