This is the bike I've been waffling over. I'm getting mixed messages from my bride, we may be at the stage where we'll upgrade 'ol Chuggy to an Ultra with ABS..[had a serious Deer scare just outside Lewiston Idaho on July 4 weekend and got a little ham handed with the front brake, did not hit the deer and did not drop the bike but I'm thinking i'm not the skilled rider I used to be]. I have a soft spot for FXR's..I'd like to get another one sometime but the time has to be right. This year has been two sessions of school, two weddings and two grads..a piss poor time for seeing a bike like this come up for me but it might work for one of you, it looks sweet. HRK knows of this bike. If I can't get my act together on it..[logistics and timing, sux to be me] I hope one of you guys get a crack at it.

For some reaon I can't past the url here I get redirected to some pioneer learining centre. Go to EBAY motors type in FXRS in the search and it'll be the only bike in the list with under 5000 miles. Here's another one, a little closer to home

Had a close encounter with a deer yesterday, she waited until I was right on her before she jumped right into the middle of my lane. :) I can say that those ABS brakes work very well and was really glad that both the deer and I lived to see another day :)

I saw a deer late at night about two weeks ago. I saw it in plenty of time... good thing too because that was a large buck....

They are pretty dumb when it comes to crossing the roads and can mess you up real bad if you connect with one. I've been pretty lucky all these years and still look for em all the time.

We have a lot of deer here, too, and bikers have to watch for them constantly, especially at dawn or twilight. A biker was killed hitting one not too long ago just a few miles from where I live.

Not too long ago I I was heading home from work and I turned onto a major highway I saw the silhouette of one through some lights, I was kind of foggy but I still potted it, again, a huge buck.. I have seen more deer this summer than I have during the hunting season....

Maybe the hunters didn't kill enough of 'em off. Haven't seen many this year - I heard guns going off nearly every day during deer season, and nearby too. Our town is only a square mile so the hunters are everywhere, guns blazing. I'm really glad they have to shoot out of deer stands around here - if you can call that hunting. Some days, it sounds like the 4th of July around here!
