hey every one ! , I have a 2000 ultra and I need to know what is a good weight fork oil to put in and what kind? I think I need a little stiffer ride. It has about 65,000 ml. on it. Im also buying a vacuum pump to put the fork oil in at the drain hole . I think it should work .If any one knows any thing about fork oil or installing the oil in a 2000 ultra please let me know thanx

im not sure about the vacuum pump working, but the best advise i can give you is get a service manual for your bike. it explains in detail on servicing the forks. i have a 65 and 06 models......they are different so i am not sure that the methods in my manuals will help you.......also, why do you think you need a stiffer ride??? are the forks bottoming out?? do you have highspeed wobble?? curious......

Getting it out ain't the problem....Getting it in without tearing that fairing about off is.
