    Putting on new tire and brake pads
    Decided to repaint forks and tins

    Scotchbrite and then cleaned

    Painted with black enamel from lowes in rattle can

    Not bad for two years of use and $15

    How did you get in behind the upper back side to paint em, just swivel the bars out?

    Yep swivel it out a bit, I taped the plastic back further
    than it looks so I can get to the back from the sides pretty easy

    Its on my 09 Road Glide, I did them two years ago when the bike was new
    vs buying $500 for black or chrome forks.

    I"ll put another coat on these tonight.
