I am not sure how the internal pin or clip on a single brake caliper assembly should be situated. It seems to be able to attach to the bracket in several configurations. This clip is shaped like a "P." Can anyone tell me or provide a diagram picture showing the direction this clip should be facing or situated when installing a front brake caliper? Thanks for your time and assistance!

Did you figure it out yet?

I have a 94 FLST, and I know exactly what you are ccconfused about, as I have had the same confusion. It is in the manual. The Spring clip goes at the top, facing out (away from wheel).
