I have a 2003 XL1200C Sportster and am thinking about either a wide glide conversion or a springer conversion. I seen a program somewhere out there that does the numbers for rake and trail. You just punch in your stock numbers, and the new numbers (triple tree rake, and tube length), and it will compute your new trail figures. I can't find the site where I saw this program. Does anybody know? Also, thinking about a Seegercycle front end. Any comments or feedback? Thanks, Leont53

    looks good

A friend of mine did the seeger cycle front end....it looks awesome and handles well....it took him a weekend to install..it comes as a wide-glide...it is pricey..a springer would actually be cheaper :D

    Hey Steelers fan,

    In regards to your question...

Do a search on this forum for a thread titled "Raking" which was started by Cowboy54 on 7/27/04. This thread may have answers to your questions (or it may bring up further questions  ) about raking.

Post #8 by Hotroadking and post #10 by CD both have links to rake and trail calculators.

    good luck
