The front forks on my 98 RK are consider "air ride". There is a shrader valve for adding air. I think from 1998 to today HD has changed the way the front suspension works on the FLs at least 3 times. I am sure each change makes the ride better and I don't think they are air ride anymore, some sort of cartridge or something so I hear. Does anyone know if I can change parts in the forks on my 98 to make the ride better.

I don't like the way my 98 rides on concrete roads at all. I get a high frequency vibration on some roads.

    Thanks for any ideas,
    t

Tom I know the 99 E Glide has the same air ride front end ,I think it was in 2000 that they droped the front air , My Brother has a 98 E Glide & has no trouble with the front & it handles good at high speeds , I have riden his bike a few times , he runs the dunlop tires if that helps , I'am not sure on the newer cartage change over
