OK, new bike with 800-900 miles on it now. The fuel mileage is 29-31 MPG so far. It seems pretty low to me new or not; any ideas.

FLHT if theres one thing that I've ever said,
It sux's to break in a new bike.
They are tight, don't git good fuel milage and are stopped up.

You got a head start on me. And I can't ride.

Want a base for my backrest. The dealer is 50 miles south.
Want to git some parts for a High Flow cleanable air kit that come off a SE motorcycle.
Would really like to ride to.
Now the chances of rain went back up this weekend.

CB, don't you own a rain coat? Tags up here run about 50.00 every two years. Good thing the bike is in the wifes name so you can at least get a license plate for it.
36 degrees is warmer than it was for me yesterday when I rode. Just put a few extra cloths on and ride. I got a 3/4 helmet with a drop down shield and wear a neck condom to keep the cold air from going down my neck, the zipper scar on my chest hurts a bit when the cold air hits it. But riding in cold weather is doable and like I said if you dress for it your fine.:D

I talked to the lawyer and got the Redlight camera ticket off my van.
Haven't gone and got a tag yet. Haven't checked to see if it has been taken off.

With the wind chill outside, its 23*
Where I'm wanting to ride is 50 miles one way.

Man up CB, go out and just do it. 50 miles ain't bad you'll be there and back before you know it and you'll enjoy it. Turn on the heated grips, put a good CD in and kick back. :D

Noticed you changed pipes to the X pipe and I presume filter and slip on mufflers
good looking bike, what were you getting before the change, or did you do it right away.

My guess is that you need to adjust whatever device you are using to
tune the bike. What tuner do you have?

They put the new Race Tuner on it because of warranty and I took it back to them the other day complaining about the fuel mileage. They said they adjusted it and it made it worse. I rode yesterday, yea it was cold 35* but for those 70 miles I babied it pretty good. So 29 MPG yesterday to me is not right.
