A little more info might be helpful;) What bike??What do you loose when it blows?? Did you add anything electrical to the bike??Does it blow as soon as you turn the bike on??

OK, now have you done anything to the bike recently. My wife's bike was doing the same thing and we found a pinched wire at a turn signal. I ask have you done anything to the bike because many times you can trace it back to where you were working last. If not then it could be a frayed wire, a wire that is rubbing or loose connection. Get a repair manual and look at the circuit that has these areas in it then start tracing it out. You could even have a pinched wire someplace including under the seat. Good luck, electrical is always fun.

I would start by checking the switch with a tester

Sounds like a dead short....If you've done anything to the bike recently, like changed grips or the like...start looking there...if not you're going to have to trace the wires on that circuit to find a pinched wire or cut insulation grounding out...On the bright side:rolleyes:,at least it's not an intermittent problem,so it shouldn't be too difficult to find...Good luck, Keep us posted:)

Fuse blowing means the power wire is shorting to the bike somewhere.

Get the wiring diagram out from the Service manual for that circuit and go looking for the
    broken or frayed wire...

A good multimeter and a motorcycle electrical tech book helps if you're not sure how to go about diagnosing electrical problems. A very good book is: Motorcyle Electrical Systems by Tracy Martin, published by Motorbooks.

At the very least, you should have a multimeter and know how to use it. And a service manual.
