I have a 92 lowrider that has the bulb out on the gas gauge, can anyone tell me how to get the gauge out of the tank, if it comes out. I can get it to come up, but something wont let it come up enough to get to the bulb. Am I missing something?? HELP.

    Yes I Think So

You have to pull the cap off, be gentill if i remember correctlly if it the gas gage I am thinking of on the tank. The bulb is in it and there are wires to it.
GUMBY PEACE now I am 99% sure about that. So lets here from someone else. I would hate to be the one responsable for a fu## up.

The tank gauge comes out as an assembly, haven't messed with a 92 but my 97 you apply upward pressure and wiggle and it will come out, wires run through the bottom of the tank, flip it over and you should be able to find the bulb and change it.

After I read your coments, it started me thinking so thats the first thing I checked. There it was, my problem, right in my face. Thanks very much for the help.
