I think this is another place where the media gets involved just to get people excited and get some news plus it helps the fuel distributors out. Cause what the media does is go ahead and put the word out then people get all the griping, complaining and threats not to buy gas out of the way so that when the price does go up, folks just go ahead and pay the higher price. Then bikers will saythat they'll just quit drivin' and start ridin' more and that's great - so long as couples ride two up. When they ride two bikes, guess what. They effectively cut their milage in half. Two bikes (one rider each) getting 45 MPG each would the same as one cager (two passengers) getting 22.5 MPG.

Somehow I figure out that the Oil industry knew about all this.
And don't let us know anything.

Slumberger Just bought out Smith International.
Smith International bought out Pathfinder Energy Services a year ago.
    My OL works at Pathfinder.

Hope she don't loose her job.

Paid 2:59 for diesel here the other day. I wouldn't be surprised to hear the money hungry thieves will raise the prices of gas so their making bigger and bigger profits.

Hay cardboard - yer sittin on top of a gaint oil well in TX - why worry?
Also you'll notice that no matter whereya go diesel is always higher in price. Good question as to why - It takes less refining to make diesel than it does gas - but big brother doesn't want any of ole dirty truckers gettin away with puttin cheap diesel in our rigs - Those taxes is what builds the nations hiways don't ya know? I guess somebody forgot to tell the gov that a lot cars also use diesel.

    The Guberment is a Bullwinkle.

And have you notised that all of the U.S. auto makers deceided against making any diesel auto, when a VW diesel gits like 55mpg.
    What a Big Mistake

Got a Buddy that is a chief diesel engineer on a ship.
He has to deal with the EPA and go to classes all the time.
People was statin that when a diesel smokes it poluted.
When the goverment took the sulfur out of diesel fuel which makes the diesel smoke when running it hard, and the sulfur lubricates the engine injectors.
He said that the diesels they had the EPA checkin that the EPA run their test and never said anything about them smokin.
They just wanted them to run lean.
After the EPA left they readjusted the diesel engines.
You can't run a engine where the EPA wantd it.
But all were gonna do is sit back and let Big Brother continue to run over us.:cussing:

    This administration has an agenda
it's very green driven - money

and JMO they have a lot of money invested
(Democrats) in alternative fuel energy industries

So they are legislating to make those
    industries rich...

Nothing new.. We did it with coal, oil etc.
