    Good morning,

You've helped me dial in my stage 1 carb kit and my bike runs GREAT. Borrowed an old dwell guage and tack last night to set my RPM and set the timing properly. Pulled the timing back I suspect about 1-2 degrees (half to 1 mark on the timing plate..). Bike SOUNDS better first off, great. In general though I am wondering what I "did" here. Does this create more power, better economy, better response?? So the question is GENERAL about the timing curve..What happens when it's retarded or advanced?? Figured someone will sink their teeth into this..
